Hi, it’s a “Drunk Uncle”!
On the way home from work today, I went to “Taishu Sakaba Kadosuzu” in Shin Koiwa, Tokyo.
A few minutes’ walk from Shin Koiwa Station, “Kadosuzu” is located in the back alley of the building where Seiyu is located. The bar’s appearance, such as curtains and red lanterns, is good, and expectations are getting higher. It opens from 2pm, and it can be used as a daily use like shopping at Seiyu and catching a little drink. This time I visited on Sunday night.
Even though it is Sunday night, there are many customers inside the bar, which is characterized by コshape of the counter. Somehow the seat is vacant and passed through the seat in front of the pillar. There are various groups, such as the elderly group by local regulars, Showa retro couple in their 20s, and girls’ party.
Various menus are on the wall. Hmmmm, the whiteboard is highly recommended, I guess.
I realized this atmosphere, it is almost same as “Masuyama” of Funabashi that I went
yesterday. When I hurriedly searched the internet, I found a feeling of deja vu in the menu and atmosphere. It says This “Kadosuzu” is the sister bars. I’m sorry, I came without preparation. The miracle of accidentally coming to the same series for two days in a row happened.
Anyway, let’s order.. I ordered white hoppy, sashimi (kochi), stewed, potesara, and shumai.
※Kasane (tofu with stewed tofu) seems to be recommended
They have multiple bars in the west of Chiba and east of Tokyo. Almost same as a famous Tamai group in the Kawasaki / Mizonokuchi area. Still learning every day.
Hoppy is coming. It is good after all.
Various dishes are also reasonable and delicious. Sake proceeds.
I order extra shochu(naka).
There is a famous sakaba here, ‘There are too many shochu(naka) added and the outside hoppy does not decrease’ phenomenon occurs. I feel the bar master’s masculinity as if he were asking me to drink. Thank you for the great amount of shochu, but the shochu is too thick and it is about to fall down. This seems to have no choice but to drink.
I accidentally discovered ‘Shiitake-yaki(mushroom)’ on the whiteboard. The mushroom that is said to be good for the body is a must-eat for any uncle who is healthy while drinking it in a casual way.
The grilled shiitake mushrooms were good after all….
Drink and foods were good, as always,overall satisfaction was really high. I must say, I will come by everyday, if it is in my neighborhood.
I will continue to wander the city in search of “Masuyama group” that has not yet been seen.
