A bar located in the back alley of Oshiage. The food and drinks are good. If you want to have a drink, this is the place.
Hi, it’s “Drunk Uncle”!
Today I went to “Osake” in Oshiage on my way home from work.
“Osake” is a bar located in a quiet area, close to theTokyo Sky Tree, but down an alley. Given that it’s a place where local regular gentlemen seem to be getting drunk and having fun, I don’t like such atmosphere a bit. However, this time I had the courage to enter the sakaba.
When you enter the bar, you can feel the friendly atmosphere even at first glance. Looks good.
Sit at the counter. It seems like a group has already drunk in the tatami room in the back.
The master cooks the food, and the proprietress and other staff manage the sakaba.

I keep looking at this sake menu.
I think it would be nice to have Hoppy as well… At regular Senbero bars, if there is hoppy, the sake is only second-class sake, and conversely, without hoppy, the only sake available is local sake(good ones), so the two tend to be on the same page, but I’m glad that “Osake” offers both.
So, first of all, I would like the white hoppy set.

Hot pot and grilled fish seem to be recommended. I really wanted to eat garlic hotpot, but I have to work the next day so I’ll refrain from eating here. There is a wide selection of a la carte dishes and skewers, and today I ordered yakitori (liver). But then I noticed that there was a fried garlic dish on the menu…I gave in to the temptation and ended up ordering that as well.

The glass is also freezing cold. 3 Chilled Hoppy(san-rei Hoppy, glass, shochu, and hoppy are all cold) is good in the summer, but this is nice in the winter.

Appetizers are brought out. First, the lever. The liver is just for the sauce, not the salt. Afterwards, fried garlic is brought out. This one seems to take a little longer to cook, but it’s worth the wait (it’s insanely delicious). Probably from Aomori prefecture.
Even though I had to work the next day, I was so excited that I ate the whole thing. At this point, Hoppy has already finished two cups.

I wanna drink Japanese sake… When I talked to the okami-san, she seemed to have a lot of things and showed me all the cards in her hand (thank you). I don’t have a particular preference, but I chose “Chichibu Nishiki” from Saitama.

Well, Japanese sake is generally delicious. While drinking sake, my eyes were drawn to the menu in front of me. Two croquettes cost 600 yen…I have no choice but to order…

It seems that the contents of the croquette do not have to be the same(you can choose two contents), so I chose two types: oyster and crab. While I was having it fried, I ran out of “Chichibu Nishiki”… Add “Ginban” (Toyama).

“Ginban”‘ is also good, but I’m already too drunk and can’t even taste it, as usual. Just keep drinking.

The croquettes are freshly fried and crispy and delicious. I drink all the “Ginban” and leave the sakaba. I got a little drunk this time too, so as usual, my report at the end was a bit sloppy.

“Osake” was a good bar where you could feel the master’s passion for cooking and enjoy a variety of alcoholic beverages, making you want to come regularly.
