Are you going home yet? Have one last drink before you leave Hiroshima…
You can feel Hiroshima in a very small bar where you can have a quick drink and go home quickly.

Hi, it’s “Drunk Uncle”!

Today I went to “Hiroshima Kenmin Sakaba” in Hiroshima on my way home from work.

I stopped by a standing bar (highchairs available) located under the elevated railway on the west side of Hiroshima Station. I have vague memories of the sister store being located near Chuden-mae Station and having a wide selection of sake. When I asked the master here, he said that his partner is in charge of the one at Chuden-mae Station store.
The reason why I had not visited this store in front of Hiroshima Station before was not because I felt anything like Feng Shui, but because I looked at it from the outside with a kind of awe because of the unique appearance of the store.
Take a look at the store from above.

めちゃくちゃ狭い!

This store in the Delta Zone is characterized by its extremely small size. As “Drunk Uncle” who loves small properties and has a fetish for small spaces, this is supposed to be my favorite, but I had avoided it until now because it was somehow difficult to get into.
I’m going to have the courage to enter the bar today.

When you enter the unique triangular-shaped store, you’ll find a standing bar area with high chairs and a kitchen area. Although it looks exactly as it appears, the inside of the store is surprisingly spacious and comfortable. I’m sorry for judging based on appearance.

In addition to Hiroshima’s specialties, the menu ranges from edamame to fried oysters, super spicy sausage to chicken ramen, and is truly a cradle-to-grave dish.
There are various types of sake such as sours and highballs, and there seems to be less variety of sake than at the Chudenmae Station store.
Among the drinks, I ordered the Hiroshima sake “Kirei”, and the appetizer was cold tofu, which didn’t taste like Hiroshima at all, but I wanted to eat it.

“Kamerei” and the cold tofu arrives. I’m glad that they’ve filled it with smooth sake. The master told me to eat the cold tofu with oyster soy sauce. To be honest, it didn’t taste like oysters, so I added Lemosco to change the taste.
The marriage of sake and hiyayakko doesn’t create any particular chemistry, but both are delicious.

スペシャルサービス

Special news and good news for ladies and gentlemen all over the world who are worried about thinning hair. This bar is offering a [bald discount *up to 10%]. In today’s harsh world where making fun of your appearance is stigmatized as “lookism”, in order to make the most of this benefit, please proudly declare yourself out loud. (say it loud!)
*Maybe it’s a system where the discount rate varies depending on the progress and uniqueness of the master’s aesthetic sense…

There weren’t many types of sake, but since it’s close to Hiroshima Station, if you wanted to have a drink at the end! It was a bar that met the needs of “Drunk Uncle”. Please stop by before heading back to your roost.
