The destination of the sleepy Drunk Uncle headed in the middle of the night is… the nearest station is Jogakuin-mae Station, a bar that serves high-quality fish, where a dreamy, sleepwalking old man walks through town… An emergency investigation without an appointment…!?
Hi, it’s “Drunk Uncle”!
Today I went to “Soraya” in Hiroshima on my way home from work.
Sake chuuseyo… “ponshu” chuuseyo… I wandered the streets as usual in search of alcohol… I don’t know if it was a dream or reality, but I suddenly realized I was still in the city of Hiroshima. “Jogakuin-mae Station” has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it guys…?
The station itself is just an ordinary tram station. Let’s walk a little from there.
Today’s bar is “Soraya”, and of course it’s my first time seeing it, so I decided to drop in late at night…

The exterior is the same as always, nothing special to say, of course in a good way. If there’s nothing to say, then… you’re not going to be bored and you’re going to come in, right?

I was led to the counter. The inside of the restaurant looked like this. Hmm, okay. On the top right, there is a menu of alcoholic drinks… oh dude… there are a lot of them. Shall I take a look at the menu?

Yee-haw! Sake from Yamagata in the north and Fukuoka in the south is competing with each other, it’s like a cradle to grave situation. Drooling… I’m drooling. If I drink it all I’ll definitely ascend to heaven… but I’m an adult so I should be careful.
Of course, this is Hiroshima’s “Ryusei” which is “locally produced for local consumption”… right?

The drink has arrived, it’s a “ready-to-ship” “Yoidore Express” and I’m happy that I can drink it right away…. Gulp! It’s delicious. Next is the snack, which means Mami-Tsu.

Today’s recommended menu and the usual menu… I guess it’s normal to choose from each, right? Here, I get “Turban Shell with Soy Sauce Liver” and “Potato Salad”, right? After ordering, I sit down and wait…

Otsumami has arrived. The turban shell is really good. Crunchy and delicious…. Gulp! It goes well with ponshu, is this a red-handed offense for close contact with turban shells and ponshu cooked in the mouth…? This is on the top of the wanted list. Gulp, the sake is gone… Next up is “Daigorei” and “Yakko”, also from Hiroshima.

Gulp! This is delicious… Last orders means closing time is fast approaching… I guess I’ll just have a quick drink and head home… When the sake runs out, it’s time to leave and get housed…
Sit back until the next episod…
