Are you looking for a cool standing bar in Omiya? This is a trendy, hip spot where veteran ladies and gentlemen gather. If you use the state-of-the-art automatic ticket vending machine, you can drink your fill without worrying about being seen!
If you’re in the neighborhood, be sure to stop by…

Hi, it’s “Drunk Uncle”!

Today I went to “Nagomi” in Omiya on my way home from work.

I’m back in the familiar Omiya… You know Omiya Minami Ginza, the town in Saitama where thugs, gangsters, touts, and pimps gather, right? It’s the most violent town where you can throw a stone and hit a thug or gangster, so good kids shouldn’t go there…

When it comes to the neighborhood of Omiya, “Izumiya” comes to mind, but there are plenty of others, you know?
If you’re not confident in your legs, I recommend “Izumiya” where you can sit down, but on the other hand, if you’re still up to the challenge of younger people and have the “pride of Drunk Uncle” to think, “Standing and drinking? That’s fine!”, then I highly recommend “Nagomi”…

Without further ado, let’s just drink until our legs are gone, okay? Well then, let’s go in…

First, check the appearance of the bar, that is, the exterior. The color scheme and font are indescribable and nice. It really stimulates the lazy old man who likes outdoor signs. High point .

I checked a little more. The outside menu was good, and the lanterns were nice. Well, it’s like this everywhere, but I guess it’s okay.

I entered the bar without incident. It was overflowing with drunk gentlemen and ladies… There were seats in the back, and a standing bar area on the right. I need to introduce the facilities in the store a little more…

There is an automatic ticket machine on the immediate left as you enter the entrance. You buy a ticket here and hand it over to the guy in the back, right? It’s the same system as “Daitokai” at the west exit of Ikebukuro Station, right? But that’s not how you buy tickets, so be careful. You’ll get badly burned.

I’ll explain. Buy whatever adult drinks you like, and keep in mind that the glasses are basically reusable. But for snacks, or otsumami, you first have to check the tariff at the otsumami counter in the back. Then you buy a snack voucher for the same amount, you know?

The master is kind, so he’ll accept cash or give you a refund, but don’t take his kindness for granted. As a bar run by a small but elite team, it should be their role to contribute to reducing the labor involved in handing over money.

That’s how you buy tickets, so please keep that in mind before buying from the ticket machine.
And I’ll make a confession here… the first time I came here, I didn’t know the system and bought a bunch of snack tickets, causing a lot of trouble for the master… Please step over my dead body and don’t make the same mistake again, okay? I’ll enlighten you here…

It’s a bit of a formal story, but if you pay attention to that, it’s a nice and enjoyable standing bar. It’s a shame that they don’t have Hoppy… In that case, your only choice is your usual drink, “Sake (by the glass)”. They also have a discounted drink coupon, so if you like that, I recommend that.

Gulp! This sake is… 100% pure, without any impurities, meaning it’s second-class sake without a trace, there’s no doubt about it… Should I pretend to choose otsumami and check out the store?

I feel like there are messages here and there. Basically, yes, it’s true.
The only thing that bothered me was the line, “We will fix the TV to channel 4.” I wonder if the guy’s dad was a Giants fan or a core supporter from the Yomiuri Verdy days, or if violence broke out over a channel dispute…

Let’s stop treating each other to drinks between different groups because it will lead to trouble, okay? You’re old enough to know this isn’t a place to pick up girls.

Checking out the interior of the restaurant won’t make for good snacks, so let’s pick out some Mami Tsui that we can eat.

Tuna sashimi, stir-fried pork and kimchi, and Neapolitan pasta. Gulp! It goes really well with ponshu. I could eat as many as I want… I’ll have to keep hitting the ticket machine.

My liver seems to be doing well today, so it’s decomposing. I’ll keep hitting the ticket machine again and get another otsumami.

Bamboo shoots and mackerel. Gupl&Slurp! Paired with sake, it’s pleasure after pleasure. I can’t stop…
My fingers got tired after hitting the ticket machine 16 times in a row…

It’s too early to “give up as a human,” so I’ll pay and leave the bar & have a house before I ascend, but then I pay…but it’s an automatic ticket machine so it’s already done…I didn’t waste time thinking about it and just left the bar…

My legs have become so stiff that I can’t even stagger… There’s an Izumiya on the corner… I’ll rest my legs there for a bit and then think about whether to go for a fashionable massage, an Ogino-style massage, or even a hostess bar…

Nagomi, I recommend it.
